The Cine Pillow XL by Magma Gear is released to the world of film makers in this summer of 2025!
About Cine Pillow’s history and future
This steady bag has been produced and tested over a time span of 3 years. DOP’s have used it in various shoots over a long time and under severe conditions and found it to be functional and ready for release. This summer the Cine Pillow XL is finally seeing the light of day. Starting from Magma Gear’s home town Berlin, we are first releasing it in film equiment rentals. Then we will expand throughout Germany and later spread the Cine Pillow throughout Europe.

I shot a feature film in Costa Rica ( Awaiting Birds) mainly on the Cine Pillow XL, This setup gives me the stability I need for hand held shots, its very practical because it helps to balance the weight of the camera better, allowing me to sustain shots for a longer time, not sacrificing the natural movement. It's a very practical tool to have on set, I take it to every shoot I'm in. You always find a use for it. She is a Magma Gear Ambassador from the early days and her insights help to improve the Gear since the beginning of the brand.

The Cine Reflector
Currently in prototyping and about to be shared with the world of filmmakers
At this moment we are working on the Cine Reflector 300 series. These are 30cm x 30cm panels with 5 different diffusions. Also we are working on a Cine Reflector 1000 frame. A 1m x 1m panel with 2 different diffusions. All surfaces can be cleaned with glas cleaner and are touch proof.
The product release will be most likely start from spring 2026.
